"These flex spelling classes have been perfect for my kiddo.  He is able to pause the lesson and take all the time he needs for handwriting -- this has been a great fit with his dysgraphia.  The teacher's demeanor in the videos is so helpful and calming -- while other spelling work at school and at home often left him feeling anxious and frustrated -- he has no stress at all doing the work this teacher walks him through.  She teaches with a positive and thoughtful approach focused on understanding the sounds and being able to listen for the verbal/visual cues.  The weekly lists and worksheet packets are well-organized around a really clear sound theme that lends itself to understanding; these lists are set up for the kids to gain confidence in their ability.  She leaves personalized and supportive feedback to his assignments each week, so even those these are recorded classes it still has an element of one on one interaction.  I am so glad to have found this class for my kiddo!  He has gone from considering himself "not very good at spelling" to being excited each week at his effort and ability."-Outschool Parent
